Creature Teacher 2015 – Ballard Family Dentistry

Dental health education is more fun when you bring in fun creatures and what better time to do it than during Children’s Dental Health Month!  Dr. Scott Ballard and the team at Ballard Family Dentistry kick of their 9th year of the “Creature Teacher” tour to the Eagle Mountain ISD and additional area schools on February 6th.

Each program is approximately 20 minutes long and captures the attention of approximately 300 students per school.  The program is led by a team consisting of a “Creature Teacher” and members of the Ballard Family Dentistry team, who incorporate anything from snakes to tarantulas, to even a Chinchilla, into the program.  The children are then shown how to take care of their teeth and relate this to how animals eat, how their teeth affect them, and MUCH MORE!
